PORTLAND --- BCSA Co-Founder Shannon Boxx will be inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in recognition of her achievements and her career as a U.S. Women’s National Team Member.
In her career as one of the top women’s soccer players in the world, Boxx has won three Olympic gold medals and finished third in the 2005 FIFA Women’s World Player of the Year. Boxx currently is a Northwest Regional Council Member of the Lupus Foundation of America, co-founder of the Bridge City Soccer Academy, and a co-owner of NWSL expansion team Angel City FC.
The 2022 National Soccer Hall of Fame will take place in Frisco, Texas, on Saturday, May 21.
